Hey guys! I'm still kickin' it here in VA. This was our first full week of sessions and everything, and it was really neat. I'm way pumped because tomorrow there is a High School Musical 2 party!! Whoop whoop! My partner Laura is also a fan, so we are totally going and hanging out with all the MKs. Oh yeah, there is also a Chick-fil-A in town, which I haven't eaten since I graduated from UU last May! We went there on Saturday night and it was soo yummy!

Well, I am here in Virginia for Orientation (FPO). It's been really great so far. It's just awesome to be around so many like-minded people that are just as pumped about missions as you are. We had a 'personal spiritual retreat' today where we went off for 3 hours and got to spend time doing whatever we wanted alone with God. It was simply amazing, because He really just affirmed that this is what I need to be doing. I was also reminded of how selfish and self-seeking I am. Basically, God is good and it's supremely humbling to think that He uses someone like me to spread His Name to the Nations.

So my wonderful friends had an amazing party for me on Saturday. It was fantastic! They are all awesome and I am truly blessed.

In other news,  I leave Tuesday peeps! I am getting excited, but there is still a lot to do between now and then. Please continue to keep me in your prayers. Love you guys!

Ohhh yeah!

Well folks it's gettin' down to the nitty gritty here! In less than a week I will begin my training at ILC in Virginia! I actually started packing today which was very exciting. It made it feel more real, like this is actually happening. I am so incredibly excited about what's going to happen. Satan has really been working overtime trying to distract and discourage me, so I know that God is going to do some amazing things.

Basically, things are really good. Yes, I am sad to leave my life here, but I know that this is what God wants for me. It would be easy to freak out or give up but I know that I want to be obedient to this call, and that requires action.

Please be in prayer for me these next few days as I do all of the last minute things that I have been putting off!

2 weeks from today people!!!!! 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!

I'm stressed but in a good way. I am so very excited about going to ILC and learning new stuff, and beyond pumped about Western Europe. I just need to get a lot of stuff done between now and then.

Please pray that I will be able to get everything done. I also just need prayer about tying up loose ends here as far as relationships go. Each day it hits me a little bit more that I am going to be gone for 2 years. Not just down to Tenneessee to go to school, but across the ocean to live.
